WANdiscohas announced it has acquired TortoiseSVN.net, the website for TortoiseSVN, the award-winning open source Subversion client software for Windows with millions of users. TortoiseSVN.net attracts over 500,000 unique visitors each month and supports over five million downloads each year. WANdisco also announced that Stefan K�ng, the lead developer for TortoiseSVN, will join the company.

Stefan K�ng has been the lead developer for TortoiseSVN since the start of the project. In addition to his open source work, Stefan has held senior positions in software and hardware design and engineering. He holds a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, Switzerland and is fluent in both German and English.
